Meet Our Therapists

Therapeutic Bodyworkers' Association (TBWA) is a team of professional Massage Therapists serving the Boulder-Longmont-Denver area of front range Colorado. We provide On-Site Chair Massage for corporations, businesses, organizations, and at special events.

We are a group of caring and qualified individuals located in the Denver/Boulder metro area who have graduated from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. Many of us are Nationally Certified in Massage Therapy (NCMBT). Below we have complied a list of our names, locations and expertise. We are interested in sharing with you the many benefits that massage and bodywork have to offer.

We are also members of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) or American Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. We are certified in both CPR and First Aid. We are all covered under professional liability insurance with the AMTA or ABMP. As independent practitioners, each of us has our own practice, and we join together as a team to offer On-Site Chair Massage.

Bansi (Boulder)

A graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy with over 1100 hours of specialized training, Bansi specializes in Integrative Therapeutic Massage and Energy Medicine. Integrative is a comprehensive therapy for body, mind, heart and spirit. It uses breathwork, movement, physical sensation, sound, verbal interaction and creative techniques to open the body from its holding patterns. Its goal is to bring a client to a greater experience of embodiment, more aware of sensations, breath and energy. With this awareness comes the opportunity for change along with a greater sense of self as human spirit. Bansi also draws on his experience and training in Polarity Therapy, Reiki, Sound Healing, Reflexology and Healing Touch to create a uniquely effective session for each client. In addition, he has 10 years experience in practicing and leading active meditation techniques. He is located in southeast Boulder near Foothills and Baseline.

Jan DeCourtney, NCMT, RPP (Boulder)

Jan specializes in meeting the client's needs by creating custom sessions using a variety of techniques including neuromuscular, deep tissue and Swedish, hot and cold therapies, and Polarity Therapy (Energy Balancing). Jan works well with people recoving from accidents/injuries, stress, chronic conditions, and Highly Sensitive People. She is Nationally Certified (NCMBT). Her office is located in Northeast Boulder near the intersection of Foothills Parkway and Diagonal Highway.

Clifford Garton, NCMT (Boulder)

Cliff is a graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and is Nationally Certified (NCMBT). Cliff adapts his work to the individual's needs. Sometimes relaxing, stress-reducing therapy and sometimes Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue work for clients with specific musculoskeletal dysfunction. Cliff works out of a chiropractor's office in Longmont.

Carla Gravesen, NCMT (Denver Tech Center)

Carla specializes in meeting each individual's needs through incorporating varying massage techniques such as Swedish, Neuromuscular, and Deep Tissue. Carla works well with people wanting assistance with relaxation and/or relief from stress and/or pain as well as recoving from varying injuries and illnesses. She is Nationally Certified (NCMBT). Located in Englewood (3 minutes from Quebec and C-470).

Markus Hughes (Boulder)

Markus has an associate degree in occupational studies and is certified through the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. His style includes knowledge and application of treatment work including medical massage and normalization of soft tissue systems and structural re-education. He also has training in energy medicine ranging from Integrative and Craniosacral work to Reflexology and Shiatsu. He enjoys applying treatment techniques with a mixture of energy and relaxation styles and upon request he can perform deep tissue massage. Located in Boulder.

Alisa Millette, NCMT (Boulder)

Suzie Reed, NCMT (Longmont)

Suzie specializes in meeting the client's needs through Neuromuscular, Swedish, and Integrative Massage as well as Shiatsu sessions. Suzie works well with people recovering from injuries. She especially enjoys bringing massage and Shiatsu to people new to massage and children of all ages. She is Nationally Certified (NCMBT). Located in southwest Longmont.

Lou Zeman, NCMT (Louisville)
